TUNGUS MISTERY

The tour gives a chance to spend overnights in the center of so-called Tungus Meteorite Fall - one of the greatest mysteries of the 20 century. It is still unknown what it was in fact. There are lots of hypotheses: A crash of a Martian Spaceship, a piece of antisubstance, a lazer attack from the Swan Constellation, the Black hole, a comet, a meteorite…Whatever it was thanks to God it did not happen in densely populated Europe. That summer of 1908 there were no victims. Nomadic tribes traveling considerably close by that place were just scared: Series of enormous explosions fell and burnt down the dense forest in the area of thousands sq. kms. What was it in fact? Who will solve a riddle? Just assume that it will be you, who will find a piece of the space substance and win universal fame.

Day1
Arrival in Bratsk. Check - in at “Taiga” hotel Welcome coctail, discussion of the itinerary. Fitting tourist gear.

Day 2-5
After breakfast flight to the so-called Tungus Meteorite Fall area (about 600 kms. c Full board hartered ME8). Three excursions and informal lectures by the campfire with Russian scientists, a chance to explore the area under supervision of a local guide. All meals are served by staff, overnights in log cabins or tents. Picnic and traditional
local sauna are included. Fishing is available.

Day 5
Flight back to Bratsk with a stop in Vanavara village for an excursion to local Museum and lunch. Check-in at the “Taiga” hotel, free afternoon.

Day 6
Tour of Bratsk, including visit to the Dam and outdoor Ethnography
Museum. Gala dinner with savoring of Siberian specialties at the
Restaurant.

Day 7
Breakfast, morning free for shopping and rest. Departure from Bratsk.
