There is no river more beautiful in Russia than the Lena flowing for more than 4000 kms right across Siberia from its source in the South near Baikal lake to the remarkable vertical rocks known locally as “Fingers”, nor the rocky slopes that struck you, but the unique harmony of the river’s might. The water and the mountains are joined together by light-toned strips of sand by the river, outlining the water with a uniquely smooth, bold, long, clear sweep like the sounds of music. The width of the river and the height of the wooded mountains from the single picture, beautiful, yet modest, all embracing and yet exhibiting restraint.

Day 1
Morning: arrival in Bratsk, accommodation at the “Taiga” hotel. Afternoon: city-tour of Bratsk and visit to the Dam (3.5 hours).
Evening: special Siberian cuisine dinner and local c ountry music group.

Day 2
3 a.m. departure for Ust-Kut (train, 9 hour).
12-00: arrival in Ust-Kut; city-tour. 15-00: embarkation.

Day 3-7
Cruising along the Lena river Osetrovo - Bodaibo: 1037 kms; a small boat: 2 single, 4 double cabins, 2 toilets, 2 showers). On the way: short stops in Ulkan, Vitim, Ichora, Mama, Mironovo.
