Enjoyable both in winter and summer. After a brief sightseeing in Bratsk - a 4 day stay at the hunters' camp on the bank of the Kova river (a small tributary of the Angara) 160 kms away from the city in the virgin taiga. In winter covered by white hoarfrost that looks like lace, trees and log cabins remind of fairyland described in folk-tales. Sparkling carpet of fluffy snow will cool you up after baking Russian sauna. In summer hundreds of various species of trees and bushes and all sorts of flowers will introduce you Siberia in full blossom. Wild berries and mushrooms will vary your menu.

Day 1 Arrival in Bratsk.
Check - in at the Taiga Hotel. City-tour + visit to the dam.

Day 2 Visit to outdoor Ethnography Museum in the morning.
Bratsk lake mini-cruise with a
picnic on the shore. Overnight at the hotel.

Days 3-8 Four-day expedition to the Kova River:
156 kms coach drive, 12 kms foot walk along the forest path. Accommodation at the hunters' log cabins on the bank of the river.
Two informal excursions under supervision of local hunters, fishing and swimming. Picnic by the campfire. Easy catamaran boating down the river. Overnights in tents.

Day 8 Coach back to Bratsk (160 kms).
Siberian cuisine is served at the Taiga hotel.

Day 9 Breakfast
Free time for shopping or rest. Departure from Bratsk.
